My name is Adam, I'm in the garden, and looking for a mate
I see the cows and goats and mules, but really can't relate
Four legs they have, but I have two, God, what's up with that?
There's this little slinky thing, I think I'll name that cat!

The cat's too short, the mule too stubborn, the cow looks up with Moo
And I am pretty lonely God, whatever shall I do?
Well God now spoke and said these words, "Adam, go to sleep"
"When you awake I'll have some one, just for you to meet!"

And so old Adam went to sleep, under Holy Power
While God now snitched a rib from him, didn't even take an hour
And with the rib that he had snitched, a rib he'd freely given
He made another human being, twas Eve, and she was living!

So God brought Eve unto the man, and Adam had a fit
The Living Bible quotes it best, he shouted "This is it!"
The moral that we learn from this, is God is in control
If you want to find your mate, ask God, he knows just where to go!

I came upon a book, it's title was "The Bible"
The Christians said "It's true, and really undeniable."
They told me of the Lord, and just how much he cared
They told me of their lives, so many things they shared!

So I accepted Jesus, and asked him to my heart
They told me to do that, that's how to make the start
Then they smiled and waved, and all went on their way
Leaving me alone, to face the trials and pray!

I read so many words, calling now, for faith
But I had been so hurt, I just could not relate
Then the trials began, like hurricanes in rage
All I had were words, written on a page!

I put the words to action, failing many times
I'd give it all to God, then take it back as mine
I trusted to a point, and then I'd take control
And things would get much worse, as mighty seas did roll!

Now this went on for years, and I faced many battles
And once again I'd stand, then once again get rattled
My life did not make sense, there always was a war
I finally reached my limit, could not take any more!

And as I chose to die, with tears upon my cheeks
I called once more to God, and told him I was weak
I told him I was finished, with all that I had done
He smiled and said, "Come here, I'm waiting for you son!"

I opened up my heart, withdrawing every trial
And handed them to God, and watched his growing smile
Then he said to me, with words so sweet and tender
"All you had to do my son, was ultimately surrender!"

So if you're facing fires, now is the day to stand
Don't wait another minute, open up your hand
Do not be afraid, of anything you see
Do just what the Father says, from prison you'll be freed!

Jay, I was diagnosed with an illness called SCLERODERMA (SD). If interested you can go to these two sites to see for yourself OK.

Even tho I write a lil poetry myself, I can't come up with one for SD victims. We oft times feel alone, we loose our friends, some bodies may turn to stone, some have internal involvement, ie lungs, liver esophagus etc. It is also disfiguring becauce the skin tightens, your appearance changes! Currently, there is no medical cure. It is not contagious but no one knows how we got it. I can go on but if you will...please do a poem for us. God bless you and thank you Jay!

I went to God today, just to ask him why
To ask him why I hurt, to ask him why I cry
To help me understand, this pain that I must bear
I felt so all alone, did even Jesus care?

I walked into the throne room, moving not too well
With tears I asked the Lord, "Why am I in hell?"
"I surely need an answer, one that you must give"
"For I am not too sure, I really want to live!"

Then Jesus smiled at me, and took me by the hand
"Come with me" he said, and we will search this land"
"I cannot tell you all, this you surely know"
"But I will share enough, to help you live and grow"

He showed me many people, affected just like me
He showed me many people, from sea to shining sea
He touched my heart with love, said I was chosen light
To bring a little hope, into this darkest night!

And then I understood, for all there was a reason
Jesus loved us all, had not committed treason
For life now had a purpose, and I, something to give
I knew that I was special, and now, just want to live!

All my love

I had a friend tonight, whom said a prayer for me
There were so many tears, my eyes, they could not see
My heart was full of pain, despair at every turn
I felt my faith would die, my soul would surely burn!

The trials became too real, my heart was ripped asunder
Everywhere I turned, the trials, they ripped like thunder
My mind became confused, battered and quite dazed
If I pulled out of this one, I would be amazed!

The fiery darts were falling, searing flesh and hair
The fire was very hot, I jumped from here to there
My feet began to burn, and now I could not think
I tried to grab my faith, but saw it slowly sink!

But there my friend stood praying, amidst the fire and fray
With hands stretched out to God, in that pleading way
Her tears became like rivers, quenching fiery flame
As Jesus came and said to me, "Your faith will now remain!"

The Weeble Who Loved Jesus! :o)

I am a little Weeble, wobbling through life
As this Weeble wobbled, he wobbled into strife
They say that Weebles wobble, and never do fall down
I know that that's not true, my knees have found the ground!

This Weeble wobbled wildly, for years on end you see
And all the other Weebles, wobbled far from me
A drunken Weeble wobbling, is really quite a site
A Weeble that is real, you see, would never want to fight!

I know today it's pride, that keeps a Weeble standing
When the Weeble knows, on knees it should be landing
And I am glad this Weeble, tumbled to it's knee
For as this Weeble wobbles, it wobbles and is free!

Now Weebles don't have arms, or that's what people say
I wonder how they think us Weebles, ever learned to pray
Weebles are quit tricky, and really have a blast
To see this Weeble's arms praise God, you must be very fast!

I took a walk through life, the devil followed me
He handed me a brick, and told me it was free
The brick the devil gave me, was called a credit card
I soon found out the devil, had caught me off my guard!

This brick was not quite normal, this brick did surely grow
And then the brick got married, had babies, don't you know
These babies were quite weird, had babies of their own
It seemed this brand new family, would not let me alone!

They said I had more money, than I surely had
And when I told them no, they said, we'll make a baby dad
And so the family grew, brick by brick by brick
Until one day I realized, that they were very sick!

The family now caved in, the bricks all fell on me
How could they be so heavy, when once they all were free?
And like some kind of mutant, growing on disease
They ate away my money, and never once said please!

I fell down to the floor, the weight too much to bear
The devil stood close by, with more bricks now to share
And then I saw a man, with a book and not a brick
He handed me the book and said, "The answers are in it!"

The Book was call a Bible, the words were very real
I now began to use them, and found a better deal
The load became much lighter, I did not understand
Until I saw the book man, my bricks now in his hand!

I learned a tortured lesson, it almost broke my back
One brick had turned to many, one brick became a sack
If not for yonder book man, who had a better deal
My life would be a lie, with none of it quite real!

Welcome to my planet, the place where I'd reside
A place where I could go, when I'd want to hide
Many years ago, this planet came to being
As I looked around, didn't like what I was seeing!

This planet was created, within the seeds of hate
To that word called love, I could not relate
This planet was a mess, laid on hate's foundation
With a bitter heart, I ruled it's every nation!

The walls were built quite high, the gates with many locks
No tourists were allowed, to visit any docks
And if someone would stumble, through a gate that I'd built high
I'd chase them off the planet, and never tell them why!

Then one day sweet Jesus, landed on my world
Within a few short seconds, a flag of love unfurled
Then I heard a noise, a mighty trumpet sound
And all my walls and gates, came crashing to the ground!

Then all these crazy Christians, flooded on my land
They and dear sweet Jesus, took me by the hand
I found myself a dancin, as love pierced deep, my heart
And wondered why I'd built those walls, to keep us all apart!

I took a walk today, through the Bible of my King
Some verses made me cry, some verses made me sing
I learned about a Pharaoh, his head was very hard
I learned of one named Peter, his reputation marred

I learned of God's great mercy, and how he has a plan
I learned of my mistakes, the pride within this man
I learned the fire will come, and through it I must stand
I learned my Father loves me, and has me in his hand!

I learned about the father, of the thing we all call faith
I learned he made mistakes, somehow I could relate
I learned that God still loved him, as this father's faith would grow
And now I know God loves me, as in his word I go!

The name of ancient father, was Abraham, it's true
I learned of growing faith, in all that he'd been through
And like this ancient father, and Peter who fell too
I learned my faith will grow, if I will see it through!

A promise keeper lives, to serve you Jesus Christ
To serve with all their heart, to serve with all their might
To serve in such a way, that every word is true
To serve, oh Lord and King, so that all, in them, see you!

A promise keeper lives, to give you praise and glory
A promise keeper lives, to tell a child a story
The story of your name, and all that you have done
To tell them they're your daughter, to tell them they're your son!

A promise keeper lives, to bless his lovely wife
To keep her safe and warm, protect her from all strife
A promise keeper lives, to hold her in the night
When she feels alone, when she's full of fright!

But most of all dear Jesus, Savior and great King
A promise keeper lives, to do one mighty thing
To never break a promise, one that he has given
Let promise keepers everywhere, by this fact be driven!

I wrecked my car and lost my job, man, what a day
Then the monthly rent came due, this bill I could not pay
The finance company called to say, "We're going to take your car"
Someone I loved then told a lie, and ripped open healing scars!

I then went into my garage, to find that I'd been robbed
I called up my insurance man, "Can't pay!" is what he sobbed
And then a man for whom I worked, who paid me by commission
Told me that I'd now lost thousands, some silly old omission!

Everything I'd sold before, had made him very happy
Now he told me on the phone, "Your bids were very crappy"
I wondered when that change took place, I felt that I might cry
Then I realized it happened, on the day I would not lie!

Satan now came to my house, and knocked upon the door
He said, "You're broke and losing all, your tithe you can ignore!"
I pulled the check book from the drawer, and tithed on every penny
I must admit, that of these pennies, there just were not too many!

I felt so weak, so drained and blue, like I could not go on
And as I prayed on bended knees, for a brand new dawn
I heard a gentle voice call out, "What you're learning son, is faith"
"If you never faced a trial my child, you never could relate!"

"What you're feeling now my son, Jesus felt for you"
"His trial a hundred-fold more, than what you're going through"
"So maybe now you understand, the price he chose to pay"
"That's how much he loved you son, to take your sin away!"

PSALM 109:1-8
As I awoke that morning, with tears upon my cheek
I must confess to you, my heart felt very weak
I felt like I had failed, and there was so much pain
The sinners of the world, were sure I'd lost my brain!

Genesis 37:18-20
And then there were my brothers, and sisters in the Lord
Many were quite sure, your words I had ignored
They took my wounded heart, and threw it in a well
They danced before my eyes and said, "Your dreams will end in hell!"

Romans 8:28 Gen 37:25-28 2 Thess 1:6-9 Mark 10:29-30
But I would not believe the lies, that they spoke to me
I had the words within your book, and that's what I believed
And as they sold me as a slave, I gained my strength anew
They never realized my Lord, they were now working for you!

Genesis 45:1-15
For you my Lord had a plan, one that would not change
And as they took my life my King, and tried to rearrange
You used it for your Glory, to bring the evil good
And blessed those wounded sinners, more than they ever thought you could!

General Douglas MacArthur- Oct. 8, 1955

"The nations of the world will have to unite, for the next war will be an
interplanetary war. The nations of the earth must someday make a common
front against attack by people from other planets."
(From "Above Top Secret" by Timothy Good)

Major Gordon Cooper

One of the original Mercury Astronauts and the last American to fly in space alone. On May 15, 1963 he shot into space in a Mercury capsule for a 22 orbit journey around the world. During the final orbit, Major Gordon Cooper told the tracking station at Muchea (near Perth Australia) that he could see a glowing, greenish object ahead of him quickly approaching his capsule. The UFO was real and solid, because it was picked up by Muchea's tracking radar.
Cooper's sighting was reported by the National Broadcast Company, which was covering the flight step by step; but when Cooper landed, reporters were told that they would not be allowed to question him about the UFO sighting.

Former President Reagan
In 1985, in December, while addressing high-school students in Fallstan, Maryland, President Reagan recalled his recent conversation with Gorbachev. Reagan said, "I couldn't help but say to [Gorbachev] how easy his task and mine might be if suddenly there was a threat to this world from some other species from another planet outside in the universe. We'd forget all the little local differences and find out once and for all that we really are all human beings here on this Earth.

Matthew 24:4-8 Matthew 24:26-31 Revelation 17:12-14

As lightning flashes east to west, so shall come my Savior
And on the earth, the wicked hearts will now begin to waver
The armies of the wicked earth, at that time locked in battle
Will fight among themselves no more, their hearts will now be rattled!

Revelation 13:5-18 Revelation 17:12-14

And now the earth will have one ruler, sure that he can win
And he will put to death the saints, all who will not sin
And now the armies of the earth, all under his command
Will join together as one force, to make a final stand!

Matthew 24:26-31 Revelation 19:11-16 Revelation 19:19-20

For as they lift their eyes to heaven, God's army now appears
And all the armies shout together, "We will fight! No fears!"
But they have been deluded, it was written long ago
This mighty army that they face, is not a UFO!

Revelation 19:19-21

The plot is being planted, deception draweth nigh
The rulers spend their billions, to search into the sky
But they could save the money, and spend it on the truth
The truth they cannot see, for they are being duped!

Many years ago, lost in drugs and booze
I lost so many thing, more than one should lose
I lost my sense of love, and slowly learned to hate
And I was surely hell bound, heading for hell's gate!

I listened to the music, that the devil gave
So many different songs, singing "Seek The Grave"
And like a drunken madman, I would sing along
Thinking to myself, "Man, that's one cool song!"

I never realized, that deep within my heart
The seeds of hate and death, had slowly made a start
I never saw the pain, the songs would soon now bring
Pop another pill, "Come on dude, party, sing!"

And then it started slowly, my friends began to die
In accidents, with guns, so many sad good-byes
The suicides, the murders, it all became so real
So I would drink twice as much, so I could not feel!

I never realized, the part the music played
I was just too drunk, too high and lost and dazed
Then slowly Jesus Christ opened blinded eyes
As I stood at the caskets, saying more good-byes!

And now I realize there are better songs around
And I don't need the drugs, for true peace I have found
Jesus is my rock, to him my heart will roll
He's the only rock, that ever saved my soul!

I went to see a pastor, and asked him for the Word
He said, "This is a business, I guess you haven't heard"
"And everything we do here, we do for a profit"
"If you have extra money, we have a place to drop it!"

I told him of my heart, and how it now was broken
He said, "Okay, I will pray, but where is your prayer token?"
I told him that I had no token, nor could I get one
He said, "Oh yes, I understand, I'm kinda busy son!"

And as I left the pastor, tears fell from my eyes
Was this a man of God, or Satan in disguise
I stumbled down the steps, my heart ripped from my chest
For I had shared my deepest pain, and gave this man my best!

And as I staggered down the street, weeping like a child
I heard a gentle, tender voice, who's tone was very mild
I turned around to see a man, weeping just like me
He took me by the hand and said, "There's something you must see!"

He showed me many pastors, now drifting far astray
He said, "You know my precious child, it worsens every day"
"There are a billion children, weeping just like you"
"Can I count on you my son, to do what you must do?"

Then he gave me orders, and pointed to the street
He said, "Now go and take your love to every child you meet"
"For somehow in this dying world, they must know I care"
"And in your heart, I pray my son, they'll see that I am there!"
